"Hey, I'm Nita! Born and raised in NYC, I’ve navigated life with post-polio syndrome, using crutches, wheelchairs, and other aids. Living with a disability in this vibrant yet challenging city led me to become an advocate for accessibility. I've worked to make public spaces more inclusive, from restaurants to sidewalks. My experiences inspired me to create RxR, a clothing line celebrating pride for people with disabilities. The name reflects a powerful moment in my life: a 1989 accident that pushed me to fight for accessible curb cuts citywide. Join me in raising awareness and celebrating strength!"
